Notes

* (Jeff Beck cover featuring Jesse Gress on guitar)

Track 4 fades out about 20 seconds before the end of the song due to digital noise.
track 8 had digital noise so I substituted the soundboard recording to make this as complete as possible.

Jim Weider - guitar (The Band)
Jesse Gress - guitar (Todd Rundgren & tony Levin bands)
Tony Levin - bass (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel & Tony levin band)
Randy Ciarlante (The Band)

Any band that has Tony Levin has to be good!

Jim Weider's Project Percolator opened for the Pink Floyd tribute band "The Machine". This early Project Percolator band conglomeration included Tony Levin on bass (King Crimson & Peter Gabriel) along with guitarist Jesse Gress (Todd Rundgren). It's an audience recording except for the last track which is from the soundboard.

I was a member of the audience Jim played to at the Washington Avenue Armory on New Year's Eve. I am extremely pleased that Jim and his PERCoLAToR Project were the opening act for The Machine; they should have been the main act. I bought all three of his albums that night (yup, I'm that old, I call CDs albums!) and do alot of driving around New England. I am pretty sure the PERCoLAToR project got me close to getting speeding tickets on several occasions. The music is inspiring. In describing their concert to friends, I use terms like "a wall of sound" and "a tapestry of music". Please, keep it coming. If any of you get a chance to catch these guys out playing, make it a priority to get there! And if you haven't listened to the PERCoLAToR CD, you best go get one. All the tracks are great, but track 5 is one of my favorites, and the "No Goodbyes" jerks at my heart.

What a fabulous show! Never saw so much talent in one play. An eclectic array of rock, jazz and reggae. Jim Weider is a guitar player to be reckoned with. I strongly recommend you see his show and do buy the CD.

2nd time we got to see these guys down here. Two different experiences, both outstanding! I simply tell anyone who is not familiar with Jim Weider "trust me, you won't be disappointed." We look forward to his next project.
